<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deze citroencake met maanzaad is heerlijk fris en heeft een mooie, subtiele uitstraling. Het zachte geel van de cake met de kleine zwarte stipjes van de maanzaadjes maakt hem net even anders dan een gewone cake. Het glanzende citroenglazuur geeft de finishing touch en maakt dit een perfecte keuze voor elke gelegenheid.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We hebben in het recept bewust wat minder suiker toegevoegd aan de cake, omdat het glazuur al voor voldoende zoetheid zorgt. Hierdoor krijg je een perfecte balans tussen zoet en fris. De citroenrasp in de cake en het citroensap in het glazuur versterken de frisse citroensmaak, zodat elke hap smaakt als een vleugje lente.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Voor elke gelegenheid</strong><br>Deze cake is een echte allrounder. Hij past perfect bij een feestelijke high tea, een paasbrunch, of gewoon als traktatie bij de koffie of thee. </p>

<li>Gebruik het liefst biologische citroenen, zodat je de schil veilig kunt gebruiken en de meest intense citroensmaak krijgt.</li>



<li>Voor een nog feestelijkere uitstraling kun je het glazuur garneren met een paar extra maanzaadjes, geraspte citroenschil of zelfs een takje verse munt.</li>



<li>Heb je een feestje? Maak de cake een dag van tevoren. Hij blijft heerlijk mals, en de smaken hebben tijd om nog beter in te trekken.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Met dit heerlijke recept voor walnotenkoekjes maak je in een handomdraai 20 smakelijke koekjes voor bij de koffie, of thee natuurlijk. Het recept is heel simpel en je kunt variëren met verschillende noten. De noten gaan bovenop de koekjes, dus je maakt makkelijk een serie koekjes met verschillende noten, zoals hazelnoten of pinda&#8217;s. <br>De ruwe rietsuiker in het recept zorgt voor een mooi bruine kleur en extra smaak.   </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Zelf vla maken lijkt misschien ingewikkeld, maar dat is het dus helemaal niet. En de smaak van zelfgemaakte vla is ook nog eens veel lekkerder dan die uit een pak. Wij gebruiken de eidooiers van onze eigen kippen en die dooiers zijn knalgeel, waardoor de vanillevla ook geel wordt. Gebruik je eieren uit de winkel dan kan het zijn dat je vla wit of heel lichtgeel wordt.<br>Door de suiker met de maiszetmeel te mengen voordat je de dooiers toevoegt voorkom je klontjes in de vla. Uiteraard kun je met dit recept eindeloos variëren met smaken.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Een crêpe Suzette is een Frans nagerecht van flensjes met sinaasappel en karamel, geflambeerd met Grand Marnier of een andere sinaasappellikeur. Je kunt de crêpes ruim van te voren voorbereiden (bewaar de gebakken crêpes in de koelkast), en ook de sinaasappels kun je alvast segmenteren. Vlak voor het serveren maak je de karamelsaus en flambeer je de crêpes.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dit feestelijke dessert is de perfecte afsluiter van een (kerst)diner. Tref tijdens het flamberen wel de nodige voorzorgsmaatregelen. Zet alle keukenbenodigdheden en ingrediënten klaar. Leg een grote deksel klaar om de pan in noodgevallen af te dekken. Flambeer nooit onder een afzuigkap. Houd je hoofd koel en sluit je diner af met een heerlijk en spectaculair nagerecht.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Franse madeleines zijn kleine cakejes in de vorm van een schelp en als het goed is hebben ze een &#8216;buikje&#8217;. Ze zijn erg makkelijk te maken en hoeven maar heel even de oven in. Zet een kopje koffie of thee als ze in de oven zitten en geniet van de madeleines als ze net uit de oven komen. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>Met dit recept heb je in een kwartier een heerlijke en makkelijke appeltaart in de oven staan. De bodem is een 1-2-3 deeg, één deel suiker, twee delen boter en drie delen bloem. In dit recept gebruiken we ruwe rietsuiker, de smaak hiervan past erg goed bij appel. Uiteraard kun je ook gewone kristalsuiker of basterdsuiker gebruiken.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph">Het deeg besmeer je met een laagje appelstroop en daar doe je de appels op. Het eindresultaat is een knapperige bodem met gekaramelliseerde appel. Voor het mooiste resultaat gebruik je een stevige handappel, bijvoorbeeld jonagold.</p>

<p>Deze sinaasappelcake met walnoten maakten we in onze mooie nieuwe tulband vorm.  Wij hebben een heel arsenaal aan bakvormen in de kast liggen, maar deze hadden we nog niet. Weer eens wat anders dan een gewone cake. En doordat de cake makkelijk te versieren is kun je hem goed voor een feestelijke gelegenheid bakken.</p>
<p>Met de smaak kun je uiteraard variëren. Wij maakten een sinaasappelcake. Door eerst sinaasappelboter te maken heeft de cake een hele rijke sinaasappelsmaak. Iets meer werk, maar zeker de moeite waard.</p>
<h5>Ingrediënten (voor een tulband/ bundt bakvorm van 1,75 liter inhoud)</h5>
<ul>
<li>200 gram boter</li>
<li>schil van 1 sinaasappel</li>
<li>150 gram kristalsuiker</li>
<li>50 gram ruwe rietsuiker</li>
<li>4 eieren</li>
<li>60 gram yoghurt</li>
<li>300 gram bloem</li>
<li>8 gram bakpoeder</li>
<li>3 theelepels kaneel</li>
<li>100 gram grof gehakte walnoten</li>
</ul>
<h5>voor de icing:</h5>
<ul>
<li>60 gram yoghurt</li>
<li>60 gram poedersuiker</li>
</ul>

<ol>
<li style="text-align: left;">Begin met het maken van sinaasappelboter. Schil de sinaasappel met een dunschiller of een rasp. Hak de schil fijn. Laat de boter op een laag vuurtje in een steelpannetje smelten. Zet het vuur uit zodra de boter gesmolten en roer de sinaasappelschil door de gesmolten boter. Laat dit ongeveer 15 minuten trekken. Giet de boter door een zeef en laat de boter weer opstijven.Verwarm de oven voor op 160<span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;">°</span>C.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Vet de bakvorm in met boter of olie.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Klop met behulp van een mixer (vlinder) de boter met de suiker luchtig. Voeg een ei toe, en klop net zo lang totdat er een mooi, glad beslag ontstaat. Herhaal dit tot dat alle eieren zijn toegevoegd. Spatel de bloem, kaneel, walnoten en bakpoeder door het beslag. Doe dit ook zo kort mogelijk, tot dat alles gemengd is.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Schep het beslag in de bakvorm.<b> </b>Bak de cake in 55-60 minuten op 160<span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;">°</span>C. Controleer de gaarheid met een satéprikker. De cake is gaar als de prikker er droog uitkomt.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Maak ondertussen de icing. Meng de yoghurt met de poedersuiker tot een glad mengsel. Zet in de koelkast tot verder gebruik.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Laat de cake na het bakken 5 minuten in de vorm zitten. Stort de cake daarna op een taartrooster en laat de cake goed afkoelen. Zodra de cake is afgekoeld kan de icing over de cake gegoten worden.</li>

<div>Deze appelgalette kwam een paar keer voorbij op pinterest en leek ons het proberen waard. Het is altijd leuk om nieuwe recepten uit te proberen. Bovendien hebben we in de winter de tijd om lekker te experimenteren in de keuken. Het recept hebben we naar eigen smaak aangepast, en dit is het resultaat.</div>

<p style="text-align: left;"><b>1</b>. Maak dan van de bloem, boter, suiker en zout een kruimeldeeg. Doe de ingrediënten in een kom en wrijf met je vingers alles door elkaar tot dat er grove kruimels ontstaan.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>2.</b> Voeg dan het ei toe en kneed dit goed door tot dat er een samenhangend deeg ontstaat. Maak een bol van het deeg, druk deze plat, dek het af en laat het minimaal een half uur rusten in de koelkast.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>3. </b>Doe (voor de vulling) de zachte boter, amandelmeel, suiker en bloem in kom en klop dit met een mixer door totdat alles gemengd is. Laat dit mengsel even staan en begin ondertussen met de appels.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>4.</b> Ontdoe de appels van het klokhuis, snijd ze doormidden en vervolgens in dunne plakken.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>5.</b>  Haal het deeg uit de koelkast en kneed het heel even door om het weer soepel te krijgen. Rol het vervolgens uit tot een ronde vorm van ongeveer 4 millimeter. Leg het deeg op een met bakpapier beklede bakplaat.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>6.</b> Verwarm de oven voor op 175°C.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>7. </b>Verdeel het mengsel van boter, amandelmeel, bloem en suiker over het deeg. Laat de buitenrand vrij (ongeveer 4 centimeter). Verdeel de appelschijfjes over de vulling. Vouw vervolgens de buitenrand van het deeg over de vulling en appels.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><b>8</b>. Bak de galette 25 tot 35 minuten op 175°C. Laat de galette na het bakken iets afkoelen en bestrijk dan de appels met een beetje appelstroop. Dit geeft een mooie glans en voorkomt uitdrogen.</p>
